Digital Television transformed television viewing experience

Satellite TV is simply a television broadcasting service which allows people who subscribe to their service to receive satellite TV signals via a satellite dish, which is usually placed either on the roof of their house, on the wall or maybe even floor mounted.

The ordinance passed by the Cabinet makes mandatory the digitization of the distribution of TV signals by cable operators. So digital cable Tv  is now mandatory in the four metros Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore & Kolkata to view television, A digital Tv Box OR Set top box is a device that receives and decodes programming so that it may be displayed on a television. Digital Tv Box may be used to receive broadcast, cable, and satellite programming. By the end of June 2012 all the four metros Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore & Kolkata will have mandatory transaction from Analog cable to Digital Television.
