Satellite TV is simply a
television broadcasting service which allows people who subscribe to their
service to receive satellite TV signals via a satellite dish, which is usually

Videocon D2H. DishTV was the first one to come up in Indian Market, others came
only years later.

cable Tv is now mandatory in the
four metros Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore & Kolkata to view television, A digital
Tv Box OR Set top box is a device that receives and
decodes programming so that it may be displayed on a television. Digital
Tv Box may be used to receive broadcast, cable, and
satellite programming. By the end of June 2012 all the four metros
Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore & Kolkata will have mandatory transaction from
Analog cable to Digital Television.
